OVERVIEW
Asian bridal hair is somewhat different from other styles of updos and western bridal styles. The main reasons are that for the majority of styles, a heavily embroidered scarf is worn over the hair, for very long hours. So hair must, most importantly, be able to hold the weight of the scarf for the whole day until the evening. In some cultures and traditions, brides also request elaborate styles that can be seen underneath the head scarf. Even within the asian bridal culture, there are a spectrum of styles and personalities and the hair should reflect this.
